I made this recipe exactly as written last night, and it was just ok. It was a little bland, nothing to write home about. I wasn't excited about this flavor of the cooking sauce, so I won't be buying the basil parmesan again. But glad I tried it. A beginner cook would probably like this recipe.

I CHANGED THE RECIPE TO A POTATO AND BROCCOLI SOUP AND IT WAS THE BEST POTATO SOUP I HAVE EVER HAD. DID NOT ADD ANY ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO THE SAUCE RECIPE. I COOKED THE POTATOES AND BROCCOLI IN A SEPARATE POT AND THEN ADDED IT TO THE SAUCE MIXTURE. I LET THE POTATOES AND BROCCOLI SIMMER FOR A FEW MINUTES IN THE SAUCE. I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT. (Flyboy)

Best healthier alfredo sauce ive been able to make at home, and not for lack of trying! I used 12 oz of healthy harvest spaghetti as i didnt have any linguini on hand and omitted the cream, adding a little extra parmesan. The sauce coated all the noodles nicely but they werent swimming in it.

I usually add a lot more ingredients to my own personal alfredo recipe but I must say, this came out yum. Go progresso.

We added some broccoli, amazing! I thought the basil was a nice addition without taking away from the alfredo. It was so easy, I wasn't mad that it was my turn to cook :)

Wonderful! However a tad bit bland. I added pepper and oregano and the taste improved ten fold! I will use this recipe again!

Made this last night. Followed the receipe as stated. I added shredded mozerella to sauce so it would be really thick. I also added the fettuccine to the sauce to coat then put on plate. Not sure if it warms up well or not, there were no left-overs at my house! Will try another flavor next.

The first time I made this dish, it was terribly bland. I thought I'd try again, and spice it up a little. My second attempt proved to be very flavorful, so I'd like to share my process: - Add chicken to pan with 1 large clove of garlic, diced/pressed; sprinkle liberally with sea salt & fresh crushed black pepper, add a dash of paprika; cook in olive oil - Deglaze pan with white wine - Add extra basil, S&P to sauce mix; cook as directed - Before serving, toss in 2 cups cooked fresh broccoli crowns

I made this tonight & it was a huge hit! I grilled my chicken & added it to the prepared sauce. I also used plenty of basil & oregano for extra flavoring in my sauce. The end result was terrific!

My family (including two picky kids) loved it. I used a package of Tyson pre-cooked and seasoned chicken strips and added bacon bits. Served it with bread and veggies.

I'm not one for cream sauces, but my bf has been talking about wanting fettucini chicken alfredo & this looked easy enough. It was good, not overly creamy & will definitely be making this again
